I love him. I am fortunate to have found someone so utterly perfect for me.
Ten things I love about Aaron.
- He knows all of the U.S. presidents in order, including their lengths of term and party affiliations. It's not because he knows them, but because he decided to memorize them for the sheer novelty of it.
- He shares my affinity for going on impromptu road trips, windows down, stereo blasting, to go explore places we've never been.
- He can tell one hell of an historical story. I swear, when we first started dating, I would ask him to narrate the fall of the Roman Empire or the reign of Stalin when we would cuddle on the couch.
- He makes me laugh until I cry.
- He knows just how to calm me down. There's something about his tone that instantly soothes any sudden anxiety or worry I have brewing.
- He gives a perfect hug.
- His stately nose seems made just for the purpose of Eskimo kissing (that, and the whole breathing thing).
- He tells me I'm beautiful, even though I'm not. He believes it, even though it isn't true. Even better, I KNOW he believes it.
- He awes me with his intelligence.
- He dances with me even though it makes him a little uncomfortable. He plays silly games with me. He flirts with me. He kisses my forehead. In public.
- He smiles sleepily when I rub his back and kiss his cheek before I leave each morning.
- He's the wheat chex and pretzels to my rice chex and cheez-its.
I am so lucky. So few people experience the happiness I have had for nearly eight years. I may not believe in soul mates, but I do believe in perfect love. This is it.

1. Hooray for me not being the only person who waited 8 years to tie the not.
2. I am so unbelievably happy for you. I wish you so much love and luck and happiness!
This is the sweetest thing I've ever read.
